Lucy and Andrew’s London Wedding – Islington Town Hall
The lovely Lucy and ‘amazing’ Andrew became a very happy Mr and Mrs Beckley on a warm sunny day in June. I’m lucky to live in Cornwall, it’s a beautiful part of the world, but it’s always really nice when I’m asked to shoot a wedding further afield, and I love London, so this was a treat! Made even more special as it was such a brilliantly fun day, surrounded by brilliantly fun people. Lucy looked absolutely stunning in a dress designed and made by the incredibly talented Cornish based dress maker Annalisa Harvey, and Andrew looked dapper in a pastel blue Vivienne Westwood suit. The charming ceremony was held in the circular Council Chamber at Islington Town Hall – after which all the guests were served Champagne on a privately hired traditional red London bus, which took them to the Bull and Last pub not far away in Highgate, a really cool pub complete with a moose’s head mounted on the wall above the top table. There were plenty of of activities to amuse the guests, including temporary tattoos, bubbles, comedy glasses and handmade badges – the food was great and the speeches were even better! Many congratulations to you both, and best of luck with your next adventure – the arrival of ‘Baby Beckley’ in September!
